FOIL ADHESIVE

It is a water based printing paste used to achieve elastic and soft touching foil effect with maximum brightness and high washing resistance in textile printing. It can be printed on cotton, cotton – polyester blends and polyester fabrics. If cured correctly as advised, the washing fastness is high with this Foil gel. 

 To obtain the best brightness and washing resistance from Foil Adhesive - WB it is important to use foil with high quality. After printing Foil Adhesive - WB on the fabric, it should be cured. When the curing is completed, the foil is pressed on the print to obtain foil effect. To remove the foil from the printing surface, it is necessary to wait until the printing surface is getting cool.

• MESH
  Silk screens that are made of 43 cm/110 inch mesh 70 micron silk should be used.
• SQUEEGEES
  57 – 62 Shore U type squeegee should be used.
• CURING
  It should be cured at 160 °C/320˚F for 1,5 minutes.
• HEAT PRESS
  It should be applied at 160 °C/320 F temperature, at 4 - 6 bars pressure, in 10 - 15 seconds for hand press. It should be applied at 160 °C/320 F temperature, at 4 - 6 bars pressure, in 20 - 25 seconds for continuous press
