FOIL ADHESIVE (PHTHALATE FREE PVC )

It is a Phthalate Free Pvc Foil adhesive used to achieve elastic and soft touching foil effect with maximum brightness and high washing resistance in textile printing. It can printed over High Density and can release foil over it. It can be printed on cotton, cotton-polyester blends and polyester fabrics.

 To obtain the best brightness and washing resistance from Foil Adhesive, it is important to use foil with high quality. After printing Foil Adhesive on the fabric, it should be cured. When the curing is completed, the foil is Heat pressed on the print to obtain foil effect. To remove the foil from the printing surface, it is necessary to wait until the printing surface is getting cool on the heat press and better to use air pressure gun to release the foil if releasing on the pallet. 

• MESH
  Silk screens that are made of 43 cm/110 inch mesh 70 micron silk should be used.
• SQUEEGEES
  57 to 62 Shore U type squeegee should be used.
• CURING AND HEAT PRESS
  It should be cured at 160 C/320F for 1,5 minutes. Heat press for 320F (160C), 4~7 sec.
• PROCESS
  a. Print on fabric. - Print thin by hard/mid soft squeeze. b. Curing 320°F (160C), 1 min. c. Put foil on printing area and heat press for 320F (160C), 4~7 sec. d. Remove foil after foil transfer is completely cool down. - Additional cure before removing foil may improve abrasiveness. - Curing after removing foil may cause loss of brightness. If pinhole appears, mix colored ink that has similar of foil, but adhesiveness may down if excessive amount is mixed.
